AISI O2 Tool Steel /1.2842/90MnCrV8/BO2 - Durable Cold Work Steel

AISI O2 Tool Steel is an oil-hardening steel, typically supplied in an annealed condition. Known for its excellent durability, O2 steel offers outstanding wear resistance and the ability to maintain a sharp cutting edge. It is a high-quality, general-purpose tool steel, ideal for applications where the cost of high-carbon, high-chromium steels is not justified.

With a working hardness of up to 63-65 HRC, AISI O2 steel performs well in light to medium-use tools, including knives, offering a great balance of toughness and edge retention.
